Three ways to protect a file
Pick the format that fits.
Free formats cover everyday needs. The SuperZip package is built for shared control.
ZIP
Compresses your files and locks them with AES-256 and one password. Opens in most archive apps.
Thousands of times stronger security than original ZIP
7z
Strong compression and AES-256 with one password. Opens in 7-Zip and most archive apps.
Same security as 7-Zip
SuperZip package
Compresses your files, then protects them with one to six passwords in any order, hidden file names, a public cover and an optional opening window.
Millions of times stronger security than ZIP. Dozens to hundreds of times stronger security than 7z.
File names are visible in standard ZIP and 7z formats. SuperZip format hides them. See how the comparison was measured.

Pick. Lock. Share.
- PickChoose up to 200 files. Any type, including photos, videos, documents and apps.
- LockChoose a format and set one to six passwords. Add a public cover or an opening window if you like.
- ShareSend the package your way and the passwords another way. The people you trust open it with SuperZip.
Shared control
Every key. Any order.
Give each person one password. The package opens only when all of them have been entered, in any order. Someone who has entered theirs can save a pass-on copy that needs only the passwords still missing.
- Two to six keys, one file
- Pass-on copies for the next person
- Hidden file names inside the package
Public cover
A welcome everyone can see.
Add a short message and up to four pictures or videos that show before anyone unlocks the package. Use it for the first clue of a treasure hunt, an introduction for a client, or a note for the family.
- Up to 4 pictures or videos
- Videos play right inside the app
- Visible to anyone who has the file
Opening window
Opens on the day you choose.
Set a start and an end time for opening. SuperZip checks the drand public time network, so changing the phone clock has no effect. The window is enforced by the app.
- Time capsules and surprise gifts
- Exam papers released at the exam hour
- Predictions revealed after the event
Privacy
Your files never leave your phone.
SuperZip has no account, no analytics and no server that receives your files or passwords. The free version shows one small banner ad at the bottom, and any paid plan removes it. Files are read and saved through the Android file picker, so the app asks for no storage, contacts, camera or location access. The internet is used for the time check on scheduled opening and for the banner ad in the free version. Your files, file names and passwords are never shared with the ad.
